lemonbean is a small children's clothing company. We create stylish, retro-inspired clothes for kids.

lemonbean began when we, two moms, discovered our shared love for beautiful fabrics and began making clothes for our children. After receiving repeated compliments on the streets, schoolyards, and playgrounds, we became inspired to move beyond the living room and founded lemonbean in 2007.

lemonbean clothing utilizes simple, classic styles that highlight unique, vintage-inspired fabrics.

Our clothes are made in the San Francisco Bay Area at a small manufacturing facility and are 100% cotton.

The company's name comes from our daughters - when they were babies, Sabina called Clementine "Lemon", and Clementine called Sabina "Bean".
